I’m still alive, just playing with sorts, that’s all.

Oh that’s so cool! I didn’t know you had these! I’m looking forward to see some stuff you’ve done with’em. Cheers

@Piotre@designer.it: By ‘playing’ I of course mean purely admiring and mixing the sorts up a bit. I don’t have any line spacers to set any decent leading and most of all I lack a press of any sort. This is more for pure hobby and collection (one day though, I want to be letterpress printing … one day…).

Hello - I am new to letterpress and was searching to purchase metal reglets/furniture when I found this photo. The spacers beneath your metal type look like new in a box. Would you mind sharing where you would purchase such a set of them? I have none and I can’t seem to find them. Any assistance you would be willing to give would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! Brandi

@Brandi Powell: hey, thanks for your comment. I found the best and fastest way to getting hold of some letterpress sorts is via eBay. There are a few casters particularly in the UK who both sell old and used sorts (generally more expensive) as well as newly cast sorts (freshly cast from existing matrices). Some larger foundries like I believe HF & J have in the past had a special deal whereby they sell a new typeface cast into metal though I guess more as a collectors’ item. It might also be worth approaching a letterpress studio in your area and inquiring with them.

Btw, had a quick peak at your website: the menu structure isn’t accessible when JavaScript is disabled—the links point to the actual image files of each menu item.

Good luck with the search! :)
