This is from a dis­cus­sion I had with a class­mate con­cern­ing black­mail, monop­o­lis­ing and bundling in the cor­po­rate world, mod­i­fied slightly to make it more read­able:
Monop­o­lis­ing happens because the busi­ness sees it as prof­itable to control all of the market.
Microsoft is not a monop­oly. It com­petes with Apple.
