Weird dictionary

So I’m doing some eco work and I wanted to take a look at what different dictionaries had to say about various terms. So off I go, and type in “asset”. This is what Webster gave me:

Asset | As”set |
n.
Any article or separable part of one’s assets.
1913 Webster

Rightio then. 0.o
I still remember, going all the way back to year 2, when our teacher drilled into our skulls never to use the word we are trying to explain in it’s definition. Hehe. I think it’s fair time that that dictionary needs to be worked over.
